Slush Punch - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 1/2 c. water
    1 c. sugar
    1 (6 oz.) can frozen orange juice
    1 (6 oz.) can frozen limeade or lemonade
    1 1/2 c. vodka or gin
Preparation
    Bring water and sugar to a boil; cool to tepid.
    Add juices and vodka or gin; mix together.
    Put in a plastic covered container and freeze.
    When serving, put a couple scoops into a glass and cover with ginger ale, half and half or some other mix.
