Polish Sauerkraut - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (8 oz.) can mushrooms, drained
1 medium onion, chopped
2 cans Ro-Tel tomatoes
2 Tbsp. brown sugar
1 medium bell pepper, chopped
1 qt. sauerkraut, drained and rinsed
salt and pepper to taste
2 lb. smoked sausage, sliced in pieces
Preparation

Saute mushrooms, onions and bell pepper in butter.
In crock-pot or Dutch oven, cook smoked sausage until heated thoroughly.
Add sauteed vegetables, kraut, tomatoes, salt and pepper.
Cook in crock-pot on high for 3 or 4 hours or in Dutch oven about 1 1/2 hours.
