Ketchup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 gal. tomato juice
    3 c. vinegar
    cinnamon oil
    clove oil
    2 onions, chopped fine
    8 Tbsp. salt
    5 to 6 c. sugar
    6 to 8 Tbsp. cornstarch
Preparation
    Boil down tomato juice 1/3 way.
    Add onions, salt and vinegar; boil down 1/2.
    Add 20 drops each of cinnamon and clove oils. Combine the sugar and cornstarch; add slowly.
    Cook 10 to 15 minutes.
    Can in pint jars.
    Process 20 minutes in boiling water bath.
