Black-Eyed Pea Dip - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (15 oz.) can jalapeno black-eyed peas or plain black-eyed peas and 1 Tbsp. chopped jalapeno peppers
1/4 c. chopped onion
1/4 c. sour cream
2 Tbsp. picante sauce
1 c. grated Cheddar cheese
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Drain peas and discard juices.
Mash peas with a fork, leaving some chunks. Do not use blender. Add remaining ingredients to the peas and mix well. Spread in a baking dish and bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 to 30 minutes or until the dip bubbles.
Serve warm with tortilla chips.
Makes about 2 cups.
