Manhattan Clam Chowder - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 1/2 to 3 qt. water
1/2 c. onion, chopped
1/2 c. celery, chopped
3 cans clams (save juice)
4 cans mixed vegetables
1 to 2 qt. tomato juice
1 Tbsp. thyme
1 bay leaf
2 cans chopped tomatoes
salt and pepper
Preparation

Combine water, celery, onion, tomato juice, thyme, bay leaf, clam juice, chopped tomatoes, salt and pepper.
Let cook, then add clams and mixed vegetables.
This makes a lot.
Freeze some for later.
