Janet'S Glazed Fresh Blueberry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (9-inch) baked pie shell
    4 oz. cream cheese (room temperature)
    5 c. cleaned berries
    1 c. water
    2/3 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    2 Tbsp. lemon juice
Preparation
    Stir cheese until smooth.
    Spread on bottom of cooled pie shell.
    Combine 1 cup berries with water, sugar, cornstarch and lemon juice.
    Bring to boil over medium heat.
    Cook until thick and glossy, stirring constantly.
    Cool completely.
    In large bowl mix 4 cups berries with cooled glaze, carefully folding together. Spoon into pie shell.
    Garnish or cover with whipped cream or topping.
