Oatmeal Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. brown sugar
1 c. white sugar
2 eggs
1/2 c. Wesson oil
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. boiling water
1 c. oatmeal

Preparation

Mix together the first 4 ingredients.
Sift together the flour, soda, salt, cinnamon and vanilla.
Pour the boiling water over the oatmeal; stir well and let set.
Mix together the sugar mixture with the flour mixture.
Add oatmeal and bake at 350\u00b0 until done.
