Muscadine Hull Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 qt. muscadine hulls
2 c. sugar
2 Tbsp. oleo
water to cover
any favorite pie dough or biscuit dough
Preparation

Wash muscadines and pop out pulp.
Use pulp for jam if desired. Place hulls in boiler, cover with water and cook until tender.
Add sugar.
Cook slowly until sugar melts.
Roll out dough; cut into strips.
Pour hulls into pan.
Cover with dough strips.
Dot with margarine.
(Can be made in layers too.)
Bake at 425\u00b0 until brown.
