Italian Fruit Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 box soupette macaroni (acini de pepe)
    1 (20 oz.) can chunk pineapple, drain and save juice
    1 can mandarin oranges, drain and save juice
    1/2 large jar maraschino cherries
    12 oz. Cool Whip
    3/4 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 Tbsp. lemon juice
Preparation
    Cook the macaroni in boiling, salted water until done and rinse.
    Cook the juice from the pineapple and oranges, sugar, eggs, flour, salt, cornstarch and lemon juice.
    Cook and stir constantly until mixture boils.
    Mix macaroni and sauce together. Let stand overnight in refrigerator.
