Creamed German Potato Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 slices bacon
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1/4 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. celery seed
    1/2 c. water
    1/3 c. vinegar
    2 lb. new red potatoes, cooked, peeled and sliced
    1/2 c. sour cream
    fresh parsley
Preparation
    Cook bacon in large skillet until crisp. Crumble bacon; set aside.
    Cook onions in bacon drippings until crisp-tender.
    Stir in sugar, flour, salt and celery seeds; blend well.
    Cook until mixture boils and thickens, stirring constantly.
    Add potatoes and bacon; mix gently.
    Bring to a boil.
    Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 10 minutes to blend flavors.
    Stir in sour cream. Refrigerate. Top with parsley.
