Mexican Cornbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. self-rising cornmeal
    2 eggs
    2/3 c. buttermilk
    1/3 c. oil
    1 c. cream-style corn
    2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
    1 small can chopped chilies
Preparation
    Mix cornmeal, eggs, buttermilk, oil and cream-style corn. Pour half of batter into hot greased skillet and sprinkle 2 cups grated Cheddar cheese and 1 small can chopped chilies over mixture; cover with remaining batter. Bake at 375\u00b0 for 30 to 40 minutes.
