Broccoli Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. oil
    3/4 c. chopped onion
    6 c. water
    6 chicken bouillon cubes
    8 oz. fine noodles
    1 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. garlic powder
    2 pkg. frozen chopped broccoli
    6 c. milk
    1 lb. Velveeta cheese, cubed
    pepper to taste
Preparation
    Partially thaw broccoli under running water.
    Heat oil in large saucepan.
    Add onion; saute for 3 minutes.
    Add water and bouillon; heat to boiling, stirring occasionally.
    Add noodles and salt; continue to boil.
    Cook, uncovered, for 3 minutes, stirring occasionally.
    Stir in broccoli and garlic powder; cook for 4 minutes.
    Add milk, cheese and pepper.
    Continue cooking over medium heat, until cheese is melted and broccoli is tender. Serves 12.
