Oysters Rockefeller - cooking recipe
Ingredients

24 oysters in shells
1 c. soft bread crumbs
1/3 c. grated Romano or Parmesan cheese
1/4 c. snipped parsley
1/2 tsp. dried thyme
1/8 tsp. pepper
1/4 c. butter, melted
rock salt
Preparation

Thoroughly wash oysters in shells in cold water; open each with oyster knife.
Discard flat upper shells, wash deep bottom shells. Place each oyster in shell half.
Combine bread crumbs, cheese, parsley, thyme and pepper; toss with melted butter.
Top each oyster with about 1 teaspoon of crumb mixture.
Arrange shells on bed of rock salt in shallow baking pan.
Bake at 425\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes.
