Wild Rice Oven Pilaf - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 1/4 c. boiling water
1 Tbsp. margarine or butter
1/2 c. regular brown rice
1/2 c. wild rice
1/2 c. chopped onion
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1/2 c. shredded carrot
1/2 c. frozen peas
1/4 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

In a 1 1/2-quart casserole dish combine boiling water and margarine or butter.
Stir until melted.
Stir in brown rice, wild rice, onion, salt and pepper. Cover.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 60 minutes, stirring once.
Stir in carrot and frozen peas.
Cover and bake 10 minutes more or until rice is tender.
Sprinkle nuts on top. Makes 4 to 6 side-dish servings.
