Prune Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    1/4 tsp. allspice
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. cooking oil
    3 eggs
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 c. chopped pecans
    1 c. chopped cooked prunes
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Sift together the dry ingredients.
    Add sugar, oil, eggs, buttermilk and vanilla.
    Beat until smooth.
    Stir in nuts and prunes.
    Pour into a 13 x 9-inch pan which has been greased.
    Bake in a 350\u00b0 oven for 45 minutes to an hour.
    Cool slightly.
    Pierce cake with a fork and pour topping into cake.
