Zucchini Pickles - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 qt. sliced zucchini
3 to 6 onions, sliced
3 green peppers, chopped
2 cloves garlic, quartered
5 c. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. turmeric
1 1/2 tsp. celery seed
3 c. white vinegar
Preparation

Mix zucchini, onions, green peppers and garlic; cover with cracked ice and sprinkle with 1/2 cup of salt.
Mix again; let stand 3 hours.
Drain and rinse well.
