Scones - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 to 2 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. cream of tartar
3 Tbsp. butter or margarine
milk
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
2 Tbsp. sugar
1 egg
Preparation

Combine dry ingredients and cut in butter.
Beat egg in measuring cup and fill to 1 cup with milk.
Add egg mixture to dry ingredients.
Turn out on floured board and knead lightly.
Press by hand or roll out to about 1/2-inch thickness. Cut with floured cookie cutter.
Bake on ungreased sheet for 10 to 15 minutes or until lightly browned at 400\u00b0.
