Quick Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 yeast cake
    1/2 c. scalded milk
    1/2 c. lukewarm water
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    4 Tbsp. melted lard
Preparation
    Scald milk and let cool until lukewarm.
    Soak yeast cake in 1/2 cup lukewarm water.
    Mix all ingredients.
    Sift enough flour in pan to make up as you would biscuits.
    Make dough a little stiffer than biscuit dough. Set to rise in greased container.
    Let rise until double itself.
    Work again slightly on floured board. Roll out with rolling pin.
    Cut out with small cutter; place in greased pan to rise.
    Bake in oven (hot).
    Makes about 20 rolls.
