Microwave Mac-And-Cheese - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. box macaroni (prepared according to package directions)
    1/2 (3 lb.) box Velveeta cheese
    1/3 c. minced onion
    1/2 to 3/4 stick margarine
    salt and pepper to taste
    milk
Preparation
    Combine the prepared macaroni and onion.
    In a 3-quart microwavable casserole, layer macaroni and onion mixture, slices of the cheese, 1/4-inch slices of margarine, salt and pepper. Cover top layer with cheese.
    Pour milk over layers until casserole is 1/3 to 1/2 full.
    Microwave on High power 20 to 25 minutes.
    Let stand 10 minutes to allow cheese mixture to thicken.
