Mexican Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    Instant mashed potato mix (enough for 4 servings)
    1 egg, slightly beaten
    1/4 c. sliced green onions with tops
    2 Tbsp. dairy sour cream
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 small bell pepper, chopped
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
    1/4 c. sliced ripe olives (optional)
    2 to 3 tsp. chili powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 large clove garlic, crushed
    1 c. shredded cheese
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 425\u00b0.
    Grease a 9 x 1 1/4-inch pie pan. Prepare potatoes as directed on box except decrease water to 1 cup and omit milk.
    To this potato mixture, add beaten egg, green onions and sour cream; mix well.
    Press potato mixture against bottom and sides of pie plate.
    Prick bottom and sides with a fork and bake 15 minutes.
