Mother'S Sausage Goulash - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Eckrich smoked sausage
    1 (8 oz.) jar sliced mushrooms
    2 large onions, sliced
    3 (1 lb.) cans tomatoes
    2 large bell peppers, chopped (large pieces)
    3/4 c. butter or margarine (or to taste)
Preparation
    Saute onions and peppers in butter until half soft.
    Cut sausage in thin slices, chop tomatoes.
    Combine onions and pepper mixture, mushrooms (do not drain), tomatoes (do not drain) and sausage mixture together.
    Simmer for 20 to 30 minutes covered. Serve as a main dish alone or over rice.
