Beef Parmesan - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 lb. round steak
1 beaten egg
1/3 c. Parmesan cheese
1/3 c. fine dry bread crumbs
1 medium onion, minced
1/2 lb. Mozzarella cheese
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. sugar
1/4 tsp. oregano
1/2 tsp. marjoram
1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
2 c. hot water
Preparation

Cut steak into serving pieces and pound to 1/4-inch thick.
Dip in egg and roll in mixture of Parmesan cheese and bread crumbs. Brown steak in oil, then place in baking dish.
Cook onion in same skillet until tender.
Stir in salt, pepper, sugar, oregano, marjoram and tomato paste.
Add hot water.
Cook 5 minutes.
Pour most of sauce over steak.
Top with slices of Mozzarella cheese, then rest of sauce.
Cover and bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour or until tender.
Add water if needed.
Serve over noodles, spaghetti or rice.
