Oven Stuffed Cabbage - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (2 lb.) head cabbage
    1 c. cooked rice
    1 lb. ground beef
    1/2 lb. ground pork
    4 strips bacon
    1 large onion, chop fine
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 can tomato sauce
    4 cans water
Preparation
    Cut core out of cabbage.
    Boil cabbage and keep removing outer leaves as they get a little soft.
    Save remaining small pieces of cabbage.
    Fry bacon and save drippings.
