Mrs. Jessie'S Potato Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 slices bacon
    1 c. chopped onion
    3 to 4 c. cubed potatoes
    1 c. cream of chicken soup
    1 Tbsp. chopped parsley
    1 c. water
    1 c. sour cream
    1 3/4 c. milk
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Fry bacon and saute onion in grease for 2 to 3 minutes.
    Pour grease off and add potatoes and water.
    Bring to a boil.
    Cover and simmer 15 to 20 minutes.
    Stir in soup, sour cream and gradually add milk.
    Add parsley, salt and pepper.
    Heat until hot, but do not boil.
