Ingredients

2 sticks butter or margarine
6 large eggs
1 Tbsp. lemon flavoring
1 Tbsp. orange flavoring
1 c. sugar
5 c. flour
5 tsp. baking powder
Preparation

Melt butter or margarine; cool.
Beat eggs, flavorings and sugar until light.
Add cooled butter or margarine and mix well. Sift together flour and baking powder.
Add to egg mixture; mix by hand.
Test dough.
If too sticky to handle, add extra flour and baking powder.
For every cup of flour needed, use 1 teaspoon baking powder (don't add too much flour or they will be tough).
