Microwave Bread And Butter Pickles - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 large cucumber, sliced into 1/4-inch rounds (approximately 2 c.)
1 medium onion, sliced into rings (approximately 3/4 c.)
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. white vinegar
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. mustard seed
1/4 tsp. celery seed
1/4 tsp. turmeric
Preparation

Mix all ingredients in a 2-quart microwave-safe bowl. Microwave on High for 7 to 8 minutes, stirring twice, until cucumber is tender-crisp and onion is translucent.
Put into hot, sterilized jars.
Cover; cool slightly and refrigerate.
