Rocha Candy - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. Darigold butter
2 Tbsp. water
1 c. sugar
1 Tbsp. white Karo syrup
3/4 c. crushed walnuts or almonds
chocolate chips
Preparation

Have ready a good sized cookie sheet (non-stick).
Have everything ready as this cooks fast.
Grind walnuts to fine crumb stage.
Boil first 4 ingredients to a hard ball stage.
It will be a caramel color.
Stir constantly.
Test a drop or 2 of cooking mixture in cold water.
When done, work fast.
Pour out on cookie sheet and spread as far as you can.
Sprinkle milk chocolate chips on and let melt.
Top with nuts.
Next day when hard, spread with more melted chips and nuts.
Keeps well.
