Banana Nut Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. Crisco
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. crushed pecans
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. soda, dissolved in 2 Tbsp. hot water
2 c. all-purpose flour
3 crushed ripe bananas
Preparation

Cream together Crisco and sugar.
Add eggs, baking powder, pecans and salt; blend together.
Add 1 level teaspoon soda, dissolved in hot water, then flour and bananas.
Bake in ungreased loaf pan for 1 hour at 350\u00b0.
May take longer if bananas are very ripe or according to the climate.
