Deloris Arnette'S Sand Tarts - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. butter
1/3 c. sifted confectioners sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
2 c. sifted Gold Medal flour
1 1/2 c. chopped pecans
Preparation

Heat oven to 400\u00b0 (moderately hot). Cream together sugar, butter and vanilla.
Mix in flour and pecans.
Shape dough into small balls.
Bake on ungreased baking sheet until set but not brown (10 to 12 minutes). While still warm, roll in confectioners sugar.
Makes 4 dozen cookies.
