Sweet Potato Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. cooked, mashed sweet potatoes
    1/4 c. butter
    1 c. milk
    1 1/4 c. sugar
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 unbaked 9-inch pie shells
Preparation
    Boil sweet potatoes in jackets until tender. Peel and mash to make 2 cups. Cream until smooth and combine with other ingredients. Pour into pie shells. Bake at 425\u00b0 for 15 minutes. Reduce heat to 350\u00b0 and cook for 1 hour and 20 minutes. Makes 2 (9-inch) pies.
