German Cabbage Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    head of cabbage
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 lb. bacon, diced
    1 lb. ground pork
    3/4 to 1 tsp. salt and pepper
    3/4 to 1 tsp. thyme
    3/4 to 1 tsp. caraway seed
    3/4 to 1 tsp. parsley flakes
    4 or 5 slices bread, cubed
    2 or 3 eggs
    1 large onion, chopped
Preparation
    Boil head of cabbage until you can work with leaves.
    Cut thick veins off bottom of backs of leaves.
    Brown bacon and remove from grease.
    Set both aside.
    Combine beef, pork, bread, eggs, onion and spices to taste.
