Ingredients

1 c. butter
1 c. powdered sugar
1 c. granulated sugar
1 c. vegetable oil
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
4 c. plus 4 Tbsp. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. cream of tartar
Preparation

Cream butter, sugars, oil and eggs with vanilla until light and fluffy.
Sift together dry ingredients and add to already creamed ingredients.
Mix well.
Chill dough and roll into balls.
Place on ungreased cookie sheet.
Press down with glass dipped in sugar. Dough may be rolled out and cut with cookie cutters.
Bake 8 minutes at 400\u00b0.
