Broiled Tomatoes - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 large ripe tomatoes
3/4 c. soft bread crumbs
1/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese
2 Tbsp. butter or margarine, melted
1/4 tsp. dried crushed basil
Preparation

Preheat broiler.
Halve each tomato crosswise.
Place, cut side up, in a shallow baking pan.
Combine bread crumbs, Parmesan cheese, butter and basil; sprinkle over tomatoes.
Broil 3 to 4 inches from the heat source for about 4 minutes, or until lightly browned.
