Microwaved Beef Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 lb. beef boneless bottom round steak, cut into 1/2-inch cubes
    3 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    2 c. hot water
    1 medium carrot, thinly sliced
    1 stalk celery, thinly sliced
    1 medium potato, peeled and cut into 1/2-inch cubes
    1 small onion, cut into eighths
    1/2 c. frozen cut green beans
    1 Tbsp. fresh parsley
    1/2 tsp. Bouquet sauce
Preparation
    In a 3-quart casserole, toss meat with cornstarch, salt and pepper until coated.
    Stir in remaining ingredients.
    Cover. Microwave on High 5 minutes.
    Stir; reduce power to 50% (Medium) and microwave 30 to 45 minutes or until meat and vegetables are tender, stirring 3 or 4 times during cooking.
    Remove cover during last 5 minutes of cooking time.
    Let stand, covered, for 10 minutes.
    Serves 2.
