Mixed Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. fresh green beans
    1 qt. fresh corn, cut off cob
    1 qt. chopped cabbage
    6 green tomatoes
    4 large green peppers
    1 Tbsp. salt per qt. (pickling salt)
Preparation
    Break and wash green beans.
    Wash and chop peppers and green tomatoes.
    Combine all ingredients.
    Put in glass jars and pour salted water over them.
    Seal jars tightly.
    Store in basement for at least 6 weeks.
    Ope and use when you want them.
    Drain off most of water and fry in bacon drippings.
