Strawberry Ritz Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 egg whites
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. crushed Ritz cracker crumbs
    1 c. chopped pecans
    1 (8 oz.) carton Cool Whip
    1 pt. sliced and drained strawberries
Preparation
    Beat egg whites until stiff.
    Add sugar, 1 tablespoon at a time (until it looks like marshmallows).
    Add cracker crumbs and nuts.
    Spoon into lightly greased pie plate.
    Spread evenly.
    Bake for 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
    Cool.
    Fold Cool Whip and strawberries together.
    Spread into pie shell.
    Garnish.
    Refrigerate until set, about 1 hour.
