Barbecue Spareribs - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. water
3/4 c. soy sauce
2/3 c. dry sherry
1/2 c. dark brown sugar
3 to 4 lb. spareribs
6 cloves minced garlic
1 Tbsp. grated ginger
2 tsp. 5 Spice powder
cayenne pepper
Preparation
-
Place ribs in large saucepan.
Cover and simmer 45 minutes. Combine other ingredients and simmer in another saucepan for 1/2 hour.
Drain ribs, cut in portions.
Pour marinade over ribs and let soak for 30 to 45 minutes.
Broil or grill until crisp and browned.
Brush frequently as you are browning ribs.
