Oatmeal Rocks - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. shortening
    1 c. sugar
    2 c. flour
    2 eggs, beaten
    2 c. 3-Minute oats
    1/4 c. milk
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 c. chopped raisins
    1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Cream shortening and sugar
    and add eggs.
    Mix the rest of the dry ingredients.
    Sprinkle\tover
    the
    raisins and nuts and combine the mixtures, adding
    only\tenough\tmilk to make a stiff dough.
    Drop on a
    greased\tcookie\tsheet an inch apart. Bake 10 to 12 minutes at 350\u00b0.
    Makes 4 dozen.
