Mother'S Coconut Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 sticks margarine
    3 c. sugar
    6 eggs (at room temperature)
    8 oz. sour cream
    3 c. all-purpose flour
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. vanilla
    8 oz. frozen coconut
Preparation
    Cream margarine and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each. Add sour cream, then sifted dry ingredients. Beat well. Add vanilla and coconut and beat well. Turn into well-greased and floured 9-inch tube pan. Place in a cold oven, then set temperature at 300\u00b0. Bake 1 hour and 45 minutes or until done.
