Potato Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 to 8 potatoes, cooked, peeled and cut up
    1/4 c. vinegar
    1/2 c. oil
    1 tsp. water
    1 onion, chopped
    salt and pepper
Preparation
    Boil vinegar, oil, water, onion, salt and pepper together and simmer for 5 minutes.
    Pour over warm potatoes.
    Chill.
    Add mayonnaise when ready to serve.
