Hot Dog Relish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 c. coarse green cucumbers, peeled and seeded
    3 c. ground onions
    2 c. chopped red peppers
    2 c. chopped celery
    1/2 c. salt
    1 1/4 qt. water
    2 1/2 c. white vinegar
    3 1/2 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. celery seed
    2 Tbsp. mustard seed
Preparation
    Combine first 6 ingredients; let stand overnight and drain.
    I put in a little prepared mustard and horseradish and a few whole cloves and take the cloves out before canning as they turn dark. Combine vinegar, sugar, celery seed and mustard seed.
    Bring the vinegar mixture to a boil; add vegetables and cook slowly for 10 minutes.
    Can.
