Chocolate Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3/4 c. sugar
3 c. hot milk
6 Tbsp. cornstarch
4 eggs, separated
1 1/2 sq. chocolate or 3 Tbsp. cocoa
1/8 tsp. salt
Preparation

Mix cornstarch, sugar and salt.
Add the hot milk, stirring constantly.
Cook in double boiler until mixture is thick.
Cool slightly.
Pour into baked pastry shell.
Cover with meringue made from the egg whites and bake in a slow oven (250\u00b0 to 300\u00b0) until a delicate brown.
