Applesauce Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 1/3 c. shortening
    1 3/4 c. applesauce
    2 small eggs
    2 Tbsp. water
    3 c. self-rising flour
    1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    1/2 tsp. cloves
    1 1/2 c. seedless raisins
    1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Cream
    shortening
    and\tsugar.\tAdd applesauce and well beaten eggs.
    Add
    water.
    Stir
    dry ingredients together and add to mixture
    by
    hand.\tFold in raisins and nuts.
    Bake in greased and floured 9 x 13-inch pan for 1 hour at 350\u00b0.
