Sour Cream Sugared Nuts - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1/2 c. sour cream
1 1/2 c. brown sugar
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
3 c. toasted walnuts or pecans

Preparation

Mix sour cream and brown sugar in medium saucepan.
Heat to 223\u00b0 on a candy thermometer, stirring constantly.
Add vanilla and nuts.
Stir rapidly until mixture has coated the nuts. Spread on wax paper lined tray and separate the nuts. Cool thoroughly. Store in an airtight container.
