Green Chili-Corn Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can cream-style corn
    1 egg
    3/8 c. corn meal
    1 tsp. garlic salt
    3 Tbsp. oil
    1 can chopped green chilies
    1 to 2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients, except chilies and cheese, together
    in a
    medium
    bowl.
    Beat
    with a spoon until well mixed. Pour half of mixture into 1 1/2-quart casserole.
    Sprinkle the chilies evenly
    over
    the
    mixture.
    Sprinkle half the cheese over\tthe chilies,
    then
    add
    the
    rest of the corn mixture. Sprinkle
    the remaining cheese over the top.
    Bake 45 minutes to\t1
    hour at 350\u00b0.
    Bake until just set.
    Do not overbake or it will be dry. Serves 4 to 5.
