Homemade Tomato Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 chopped onions
1 bunch chopped celery
8 qt. chopped tomatoes
1 c. sugar
1/4 c. canning salt
1 c. butter
1 c. flour
Preparation

Put into kettle chopped onions, chopped celery and chopped tomatoes.
Cook until ready to put through food mill or sieve.
To the pulp, add sugar and canning salt.
Cream butter and flour until well blended.
Add to boiling pulp and stir.
Cook until thick.
Put into canning jars, seal and process for 20 minutes.
