Glazed Sweet Potatoes And Apples - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 medium sweet potatoes
    1/4 c. butter
    1/2 c. packed brown sugar
    2 cooking apples, peeled and thinly sliced
    1 Tbsp. water
Preparation
    Cook potatoes in jacket, in enough water to cover until tender.
    Cool, peel and slice lengthwise
    in
    1/2-inch slices. Layer
    one-half
    of the potatoes in a
    1
    1/2-quart
    casserole dish.
    Cover with apples and top with second
    layer
    of
    potatoes. Melt butter in a small saucepan.
    Add
    sugar
    and water and bring to a boil.\tPour over potatoes.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes or until apples are tender, basting occasionally.
