Fresh Coconut Cream Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. milk
    3 Tbsp. butter
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    2 egg yolks
    1 c. coconut
    7 Tbsp. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    whipping cream
Preparation
    Bring 1/2 cup milk to boil.
    Add sugar and cornstarch to egg yolk mixture and rest of milk.
    Add this to hot milk and cook until thick in top of double boiler, stirring constantly.
    Add the butter, salt and vanilla.
    Pour in a prebaked and cooled pie shell.
    Cool and cover with whipped cream and sprinkle with coconut.
