Corn Bread Fritters - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. cornmeal
1 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking powder
1 egg, beaten
1 1/2 c. milk
fat or oil for frying
Preparation

Mix together the cornmeal, salt, baking powder and flour.
Add the egg and enough of the milk to make a stiff batter.
Drop the batter from a spoon into deep fat and fry until golden brown, turning once.
Drain the fritters on paper towels.
