Date And Rice Bubble Tart(Heritage: Australia) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. rice bubbles (Krispies)
    3/4 c. chopped dates
    3/4 c. butter
    1/4 c. sugar
    3 bananas
    fresh whipped cream
Preparation
    Melt the butter.
    Add the dates and sugar.
    Simmer 5 minutes. Pour over the rice bubbles and mix.
    Press into greased pie dish and refrigerate until firm. Slice the bananas over the top and cover with whipped cream.
